Drive-By God Givers

Drive-by: an action done in a cursory manner.

While making an investment transaction today, the gentleman asked me, ‘How did you hear about us?’

I explained to him that I was on my way to Indianapolis to patron another vendor and took a detour to consider, yet, another vendor. On my way to my original destination, I drove-by their establishment and inspected every asset they had. I proceeded to tell him that after consulting with two well-respected individuals, this was the place I had to make my transaction.

He yelled across the hallway, “Hey Moses, DRIVE-BY!” Moses wasn’t surprised, as he has gotten used to drive-bys. They explained that they do not spend a great amount of funds in advertising, but something is drawing people to them.

As I considered this conversation, the Holy Spirit has affirmed that “Drive-by Givers” are headed in my direction. They are sent by YAH! I don’t have to advertise my need or even look like I have a need. Drive-by Givers do what they do BEcause THEY have a DESIRE to do something. And, they desire to do it QUICK and in a HURRY. SELAH.

Quick and in a hurry isn’t always about rushing and not having a well-thought out action. For this is true: most, if not all, drive-by shootings are strategically planned. So shall it BE with these Drive-by Givers unto me. They have a strategic plan to give to me QUICK and in a HURRY! And, they will know I Am the one when they pass by, BEcause they are also God’s Givers. SELAH!

My Success Status

This morning was one of those few days, that comes and goes here and there, that I felt very lonely as a woman-lady. While gathering myself together, out of the darkness of this world the voice of the thief attempted to persuade me that the reason I have challenges in achieving sum total success is because I’m unmarried. I told the thief, “That is a lie from your daddy! My success is not predicated upon my marital success, but rather my ‘doer of the command’ status according to Joshua 1:6-9.”

As I begin to meditate on those scriptures a few of my favorite united with my mind: BE and DO. BE very courageous! I have to live with a steady mind; committed to, faithfully to, and uncompromising to what God has established for me. I have to DO this BE. SELAH!

BE! DO! This command dictates ‘My Success Status.’

Without forethought, I understand that I can forfeit my future and the inheritance of my children. But with wisdom, I can preserve it. While praying and thinking, these words saluted me and my intellect stood attention: Pursue! Overtake! Recover! There was a surge of energy flowing through me as I begin to explore how they were applicable to me in my right now counterattack.

Pursue: don’t pursue just anything, but rather pursue what is approved by ‘our Father, Who are in heaven.’ Pursuing is not a lazy task, you must BE tenacious.

Overtake: when you come up on that thing, that idea, that desire, which you’ve been given permission to pursue, overtake it. Overtake, in this presented context means to ‘catch by pursuit.’ When you’ve done that, follow close and cleave to what you’ve caught. Hold fast to it.

Recover: recover, as presented here, doesn’t mean you were weakened and need to be strengthened again. It means that you’ve pursued, you’ve overtaken, now LIVE! Be refreshed at the success of being a “doer of the command.”

Pursue! Overtake! Recover! This command dictates ‘My Success Status.’

To the many unmarried and the many singles, while flesh of our flesh and bone of our bone is desired and preferred, don’t BE deceived by the temptations of the thief. Your marital status is not your success status. You must BE persuaded to DO this: Pursue, Overtake, and Recover!

Weighted Blanket Therapy

“Weighted Blanket Therapy is a type of therapy that reduces transitional anxiety, and other induced anxieties. It is also used to treat those with sensory processing disorder, preventing emotional meltdowns.

This is a, if not the, reason that babies are wrapped or swaddled when entering this side of living from the womb side of living. Their thoughts, unknown to us, are already processing something is different, unfamiliar. Their neurological system starts to alter at the onset of their transition, thus the reaction of crying. Although, some babies reaction is whimpering while some others is nothing and they have to BE resuscitated to this terrestrial realm. SELAH!

The swaddling. SELAH! Have you ever pondered why the LORD Yeshua was wrapped in swaddling clothes? Preservation and Prevention. Swaddling relaxes not just the body, but also the mind. It eases the adaption process; improves focus by hearing, seeing, and by touch. And, it also helps you to sleep better with a sense – key word – of safety.

These therapy blankets are instrumental for those of us who experience a lack of harmony with our sensory processing. This neurological deficit cannot BE properly recalibrated, restored back to normal, by medicinal practices. The right touch is so important! And, woe unto those who abuses it by the lack thereof or by the inappropriate use of.

So then, who are you IN touch with today? What are you wrapped up, tied up, tangled up in? Personally, I’ve touched hope today. I’ve swaddled myself with my measure of faith, and I AM comforted, safe, and at ease. SELAH. Without these healing touches, that will reintegrate us back to our “in the beginning” state, we create cavities in the soul. SELAH! Oh to BE swaddled, once again” (Smith, Angela M. 2016).

Doer of the Declaration

Today, I attended another case conference to review and update the goals and plans of a teenager. In these case conferences, we work on three things: (1) we review past goals and successes/failures of those goals, as well as ask the teen questions about how they view their progress, (2) then, we update/establish new goals based upon the progress/regression of the child, as well as listen to and hear their objective on what they desire to achieve next, and last (3) we develop a plan to succeed the afresh established goals.

After the conference, I sat in my car and recapped all that was discussed and the words advocacy, declaration, and helper were paddling in my soul.

Goals and declarations, to me, are tantamount. Embodied in both words, a person is composing a confident statement by giving specific details of a plan. They are expressing something that they desire to have. In my area of expertise, and otherwise, I’ve watched many people inscribe declarations (goals) and that’s it. All they’ve done was state something over and over again. However, saying something without doing something will retard the emerging of the declaration. Thus, the never-ending saying, stating, talking, writing, and likewise the never-ending not doing.

By way of example: let’s say that one of my declarations (goals) is that Nataph Consulting will work with a retired NFL/MLB sportsperson providing executive director services for his foundation. My ideal work space is my home office, and I will travel, on occasion, as required to the site location. This is one of my declarations (goals). What is the most likely result of this declaration (goal) if I do not submit my required credentials? Will the person even know that I exist, that I’m qualified, that my KSA’s and work ethics are exemplary, and that I will represent his name with integrity? No. They will not know. I have to do something that will bring awareness to them to propel my declaration (goal) to live. SELAH! I must BE a doer!

To witness the “BE fruitful and multiply” results of our declaration (goal), we have to BE doers. Doers are people who “always” progress, improve, increase, get better, etc. They attract helpers (someone who works with them and their plan of action) who are dedicated to advocacy (actively supporting them; speaking in favor of them). These helpers read, they understand, and they implement the forthright declarations (goals) so that they (the declarations/goals) surely come. And, a team of helpers is a team of doers…and givers.

Remember, doers are people who “always” progress, improve, increase, get better, etc. Thus, helpers will “always” progress, improve, increase, get better, etc. SELAH! So then, if you don’t have a plan, an idea, a chart, a sketch, something for helpers to help you with, you can’t justly expect them to help you unto acquiring your declaration (goal).

What are you doing, not saying, that requires the help of a helper?

From this case conference, I, once more, realized that articulating a declaration and penning a goal is priority. For that reason, taking action to propel the declaration into existence cannot BE skirted. The teen in this case saw his declaration (goal) face-to-face today. It was a 3-month plan and he achieved exactly what he desired to achieve, and the reward was exactly what his team of helpers said it was.

He progressed to another level; a level that he declared to succeed. Now, although he has a team of helpers (a team of doers) advocating for him, he was encouraged to take part in his advocacy and BE his own helper; to BE a doer. Again, doers of the declaration (goal) “always” progress, improve, increase, and get better.

In such manner as this teenager, so it is with us parents, relatives, entrepreneurs, educators, athletes, business owners, etc. We must not only say and write or expound and exclaim, we must BE a doer of the declaration (goal). We must escape the sinful nature of chicanery to manipulate doers and givers into advocating for us because we have failed to advocate for ourselves. With great compassion, I compel us all to BEcome diligent doers of our own declarations (goals).

I dedicate this blog to my son, Jordan G. “TheArtistic” Hicks. We developed a plan, you worked the plan, your team of helpers advocated for you on the journey, and today you received exactly what you told me you wanted. Well done son! I love you!

It is the 40th Day

For a few days now, I’ve been attempting to choose a song to minister at a service and no thing was coming to mind for the cause. When I was asked about what I would be rendering, I had no other answer than, “I don’t know.”

On this morning’s drive, I succinctly heard the phrase, “SAY YES TO ME.” Instantly, the lyrics to one of my favorites rose to awareness: “God wants a YES! YES to His will! YES to His way!” Soon thereafter, a medley of “YES” songs began to flow as I made my declaration of YES to the voice of the LORD my YAH! YES to do right in His sight! YES to give ear to His commandments and keep ALL His statues!

Sitting at my desk, with the intent to meditate and soak in the scriptures, that I BElieve in, Exodus 15:25-27 was the very first scripture that enlightened me:

“And he cried unto the LORD; and the LORD shewed him a tree, which when he had cast into the waters, the waters were made sweet: there He made for them a statute and an ordinance, and there He proved them, and said, IF thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God,and wilt do that which is right in His sight, and wilt give ear to His commandments, and keep all His statues, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee. And they came to Elim, where were twelve wells of water, and threescore and ten palm trees: and they encamped there by the waters.”

While meditating, at 9:52 a.m. (16, means love) the enemy started to pressure me with false advertisements (deceptions) of love. Just 10 days ago, September 7, 2015, I wrote about how my oil level is at 100%, and I will LET no man deceive me. Today, there was evidence that my oil level is maintained. At 10:24 a.m. (7, means perfection or completeness) the Holy Spirit, in a few perfect words, whispered to my soul, “It is the 40^th day!”

I quickly jumped up and BEgin to worship the LORD with my voice. I looked at the date and did the calculation, not because I wasn’t sure, but because I was sure that I had heard accurately. Sure enough, today is the 40^th day (I had started a journey of potentials on August 8, 2015), and my conscious self came alive to what was opened up in my spirit.

The Spirit of the Truth has been speaking to me with numbers for a long time now. So, I started studying the number 40. Forty, from a biblical perspective, means a period of testing, trials, or probation. During my 40-day encounters, I didn’t even realize that I was being tested. Nonetheless, at the moment of revealed knowledge I couldn’t resist the lifting of my hands, the walking and rejoicing, and the tears of thanksgiving BEcause I had passed this period of persuasion.

The enemy said,

“I will pursue her; I will overtake her; and my lust shall BE satisfied upon her.”

Even so, there was yet a predetermined plan for this will. The enemy and my days of old behavioral configuration (giving in to enticements) were defeated BEcause I recognized the wile spirit and rebuked it. Through it all, Marah (meaning a drop of bitterness or heaviness) could have been my disposition. I could have chosen to pitch a fit. However, I choose to pitch a tent and LET peace and gladness abide. SELAH!

There is this one thing I’ve desired for my household, and twice in the last 40-days the prospect of having my desire was at my pleasure. Yet and still, the Spirit alive was guiding me in that the presence that I’ve heard for 40-days was not the suitable presence for us. Thus, the invariable nature of my position, as an unmarried mother, is this: it is not due diligence for me to (and I cannot) make swift decisions concerning my hope. I must continue to rely on, and put my trust in, YAH as I work my faith.

I’m unequivocally certain that there will BE many more 40-days. As for this one though, I acclaim, “My YES is to the righteousness of YAH and the guidance of His Spirit!” In such, there is no failure.

Within The 30-Minute Restoration

This morning, I awakened to another migraine at 5:39 a.m. (17 victory), and here it was 5 hours later (favour) to the minute, 10:39 a.m. (13 lawlessness), that it is still speaking loudly with thumps of pain. At 8:13 a.m. (12 perfection), my Josue’ informed me that the internet wasn’t working so I checked my account and sure enough the payment I made two weeks ago was never debited. So, I called Comcast at 9:07 a.m. (16 love) to pay the bill, again, and the recording said, “Your service will BE restored WITHIN 30 minutes (30 The Blood of Christ)!”

In that moment, the very blink of an eye, I understood that this was the appointed day and time for the LORD’s affirmation to my prayers. At 9:26 a.m. (17 victory), my Josue’ says, “Mom, it’s working now.” That was 19 minutes (faith) after I called them.

From a biblical perspective, numbers have meaning, For a very long time now, more than 10 years, I’ve paid attention to the hour of revelation (the time that the Holy Spirit revealed something or spoke divine to me). At those specific times mentioned in the writing, they all bear a sum total number: 5:39 = 17. 17 means victory. The Spirit and Truth has been speaking to me like this for a long time. I never really understood the appointed hour and their significance until 2005 and have been listening to the LORD with sharpness every since.

The Holy Spirit even speaks to me in a different language in my dreams. I’ve had to wake up and research to make sure I knew what I heard was a real word and what it meant. I was also doing some verbal transcription and the recordings picked up two foreign languages in my dialect that I’ve never spoken or studied. I have to look up the words that came out of my mouth and OMGOSH, they were real words. This was my spirit self, my true self that was created in the beginning, in the image of US (Genesis 1:26) and in OUR likeness, speaking the languages of YAH. SELAH!

Within The 30-Minute Restoration: It’s Working NOW! What’s working now and how is it working?

Victory, divine perfection and authority, and pure divine love is all working for me and everything lawlessness (created by man and inspired by Satan) is overpowered by the redemption that I have through the blood of Christ shed. My faith worketh and fail me not because I don’t fail my faith. I AM has come to my household and all services (all things that are rightfully and duly mine) are restored!

So then, I thank You Father for this ‘Within 30-Minute Restoration’ on today.

Scientifically Spiritual

Is it possible to scientifically explain a spiritual occurrence? I’m not sure where this thought came from, perhaps I was reading something. Right now, I’m not sure what I was reading at the time. (A few moments have passed) OKAY! Now I remember! I was studying EFT and TFT, which are Emotional Freedom Technique and Thought Field Therapy. EFT and TFT are alternative energy medicines like therapeutic touch, acupuncture, Reiki, etc. Then I had to work my recollection to answer, “What made me want to study that?” Well, yesterday I had starting reading an article on “Breaking the Psychologically Attachment to Illness.” Oh how so many of us need to detach ourselves from ourselves and BE made whole. SELAH!

All this week, I’ve been studying on thoughts and words and their importance to create, produce, activate, heal, etc. At one point, the thought arose that this is just mindless. Then I remembered that I took careful attention at how unfailing my midnight thoughts came to me as I BEgin to dose off. Reliable was Psalm 3:3 as I laid me down to sleep: “But thou, O LORD, art a Shield FOR me; MY Glory, and The Lifter Up of mine head.” This song took its place to awareness. As I measured this encouragement, my midday intercession sprung up in me, i.e., the LORD is MY naw-tsar’ (my protector, my shield).

Bringing the two thoughts together was like healing water to my bones. I could literally feel my bones being strengthened by flowing water. It made me giggle for a few seconds; I knew it was the Holy Spirit afresh. This morning, when I opened my eyes, Psalm 3:3-4 awakened with me. I started to pray MY protection a 70×70 mile radius; that wherever I am, I AM shields me. The LORD sustained me! Everything is perfectly complete. SELAH!

Nonetheless, I kept reading and studying EFT and TFT and came upon the faith of the First Church of Christ, Scientist based in Boston, MA. Not the cult, Church of Scientology! That’s an entirely different army, with compounds ALL over this world, which, by the way, is opposed to abortion but PROMOTES homosexual oral and anal penetrative sex as a form of birth control. I thought I was reading a Bourne Ultimatum script perusing information about this organization.

Anyways, back to the First Church of Christ, Scientist. I learned that the requirements to BE a member of this organization, per the by-laws, are that you pray daily and study the bible. You must subscribe to the organization’s periodicals IF YOU CAN AFFORD to, and pay an annual tax to the church of nothing less than $1.00. There are the basic requirements to BE a member. I personally like the idea that they have Reading Rooms at each sanctuary location that are OPEN TO THE PUBLIC! Isn’t that awesome? It’s comparable to a library. How many of the ministry organizations in your neighborhood are OPEN TO THE PUBLIC on days besides the days they’ve calendared service?

In addition, I was captured by the answer that explains the question, “What is a Christian Science?” in particularly this answer:

“Christian Scientists come from all walks of life and are happy to talk about their faith when asked, but we don’t proselytize. For us, a life well lived is the best example of our beliefs.”

A life well lived is THE BEST example of our beliefs! This statement caused me to pause and ponder about what I see in other religious organizations. Do they too BElieve, unto living, that “a life well lived is THE BEST example?” Due to the fact that we all have tendency to yield to the great rhetoric of what we are accustomed to, when all things are considered, we systematically neglect knowing our neighbors who may actually have an acuter depth of spiritual insight.

This is a legitimate thought, and very likely a reliable truth, that if you think the religious organization that you belong to is THE ONLY organization that knows God (Creator, Love, Light, Spirit, and Truth) you are very likely under the influence of a persuasive deception. As many of us are aware, Massachusetts is the breeding ground for witchcraft. Sadly, witchcraft is practiced EVERYWHERE; even so, over the many altars that we fellowship in weekly. There is no slight here, just the unsullied truth.

So then, I take it upon myself to start reading Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures.

“There is no life, truth, intelligence, nor substance in matter. All is infinite Mind and its infinite manifestation, for God is All-in-all. Spirit is immortal Truth; matter is mortal error. Spirit is the real and eternal; matter is the unreal and temporal. Spirit is God, and man is His image and likeness. Therefore man is not material; he is spiritual” (Eddy, Mary Baker (1910) Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 468).

I love this quote of Mary Baker Eddy, founder of Christian Science, from the New York Herald, 1 May 1901,

“Where vaccination is compulsory, let your children be vaccinated and see that your MIND is in such a state that BY YOUR PRAYERS vaccination will do the children no harm. So long as Christian Scientists obey the laws, I do not suppose their mental reservations will be thought to matter much.”

For some reason or another, all of this brought back to my attention, in an affirming manner, that what I’ve been saying for quite some time now is great truth. And that is, we need to BEcome our spirit selves in this realm, as this is our true self. We need to unBEcome who we are and BEcome who we were created. When we start living from this place (spiritually minded, taking on the attributes of Our Image, the Mind of Christ), then we will start experiencing life and peace on earth AS IT IS in heaven. I wholly BElieve John 6:63 (KJV),

“It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I SPEAK unto you, they ARE SPIRIT, and they ARE LIFE.

As I read more from the pages of this text, I thought I was reading my mind on paper. So many things I hear in my spirit, I’ve heard them again in this book. I thus recognize that these thoughts, which are coming to conscious, are arriving BEcause there are disciplines that I need to study. There are matters that I need to learn; there is wisdom to gain; and, there is understanding to get.

BE Benevolent!

This word has been scrolling across my head for three days. I’ve heard this word, particularly in Christian ministries, that are called ‘churches’, and they have what is called Benevolence Funds.

The origin of the word and the foundation of its meaning are well-wishing; organized to do good things for other people; kind and generous. When people are in dire need, many of them expect the religious businesses to do good things for them; to help them up from the mire. After all, this is what many of us have been taught that these ministry businesses are supposed to do. At times disconcerting, but yet truthfully true, these businesses are not ‘organized’ to BE BENEVOLENT. This is not their mission and vision. SELAH!

Thus, some will establish non-profit organizations to provide a service to assist you, i.e., halfway houses funded by philanthropists and world agencies, child care services funded by state programs, homes for teenage parents and domestic violence victims funded by foundations and the criminal justice system, and counseling centers for those who are addicted to various vices paid for by your insurance company. I am no against these entities, because they do assist people in great manifestations. On the other hand thought, many of these established ‘charitable’ organizations require you to invest (co-pays, sliding scale fees, payment plans, etc.) in their generosity towards and for you.

BUT HOW IS IT PERFECTLY CHARITABLE IF THEY ARE SEEING A RETURN?

I do believe that people should BE BENEVOLENT. And, I believe they should BE this with wisdom and without expectation from anyone except the LORD. So, with resolution that is built on the Chief Cornerstone, in this manner I encourage you (those of you who truly need assistance): do not hold these ministry businesses responsible to help you or hold them captive when they are not charitable towards you. They are simply not organized (set-up, established, instituted) to do that. Pray that the LORD directs you to the ones who are organized (structured, well-regulated, and inherently able) to GIVE, to do good things for you, and to BE kind and generous to you. Your investment will be to owe them nothing but to love them.

To BE BENEVOLENT is a lifestyle. Today… I choose, again, to BE. SELAH!

Parents! REPENT!

PARENTS! REPENT! – As a mother, and a parent, it makes me cheerful to hear others acknowledge that I have trained my sons well in the LORD, and that they are maturing and will be successful in this life God has given them. However, and even better, my soul rejoices when my DNA says, “MOM! Thank you for teaching me and raising me like you have. I don’t need to change to please people because I am RIGHT just like I AM!” I enjoyed my one-on-one time with my Jordan. However, it seems like when it is just him and I, I end up shopping and he ends up missing his brother.

Nonetheless, just as we did in ages past, some of us 30, 40, 50 years ago, our children and their peers are experiencing budding life changes; changes that will either bring death or life more abundantly. I’m reminded how the LORD prayed for Simon – Peter – because Satan desired to HAVE him for the purpose of sifting him as wheat. He prayed that his FAITH fail not. In this day, Satan still has that desire toward our Simon’s!

PARENTS! To those of you who believe in God, His Way, and His Truth I plead with you to teach your sons and daughters according to such. As it is in this very hour, we are 12 letters away from becoming like the WORLD when we forsake the WORD of the YAH! SELAH! Study so that you can impart revelatory wisdom and knowledge into their minds! Study to shew yourself approved unto God; RIGHTLY dividing the Word of TRUTH! I implore you…don’t put you and your family to shame status!

I beg of you, PARENTS, REPENT for your lack of understanding and your miscarriage of effectively communicating with the fruit of your womb. I request of you, PARENTS, to seek forgiveness from your sons and daughters whom you’ve injured with your wrongful conduct and your threatening language. I urge you, PARENTS, to turn from the world’s way of speaking and acting. Unlearn the world’s language and put the language of God in your mouth!

MOTHERS and FATHERS! I demand of you to STOP confusing the sinner child by living one way in public and yet another way in private. CEASE from admiring them in society and vilifying them at home. PARENTS! Terminate your two-timing double-minded canons! Rid yourself of that intimidation spirit! I say to you again, REPENT! Apologize to your sons and daughters for betraying them; for not justly fathering them; and for not selflessly mothering them! REPENT and commend your offspring for doing well; and chastise them with love!

PARENTS ARISE! BE blameless with your sons and daughters! Give them honor when honor is due them! PRAY for them and hug them with ongoing embraces of comfort and compassion! DRAW them to uprightness with Pure Divine Love! And, LET lovingkindness BE the lodestone unto salvation! ALLELUIA!

Morning Meditation: Marriage

Today I pray against the evil that comes to kill, steal, and destroy marriages and relationships that are separated and seeking restoration. I command adultery to go and put its face in the crease of the corner. You are unwanted fabric and are not welcomed in the image of YAH.

I speak to the chosen of the LORD; get your house in order! LET your old relationships die; LET them BE fully dried up before you seek after another. STAND STILL until you have taken care of the old; LET not the new wine fail because you tried to fit it in an old bottle. I pray that current relationships consummate with marriage because it is right and it is honorable; LET them all remain FAITHFUL to one another, engulfed in integrity, so that the sheets of their souls and private chambers are not spoiled and stained.

Father Elohim, blow Your sustaining wind NOW. LET us inhale Your new mercy, it is our life! In the name of the LORD Yeshua Who is the chosen people’s bridegroom. Surely this is done. ALLELUIA! © March 12, 2012
