#NiggerLivesMatter

On the 9th day of what is recognized as Black History Month, #BlackLivesMatter (BLM) Activist MarShawn McCarrel kills himself on the steps of the Ohio Statehouse. This was one of the first headlines that scrolled in my news feed on this day.

For me, this kind of news supports my advocacy in that we all should unequivocally know who we truly are. My initial thought, after I wept, was that if this young man knew who he was, he would have been able to utilize the power available to him, given to him, the real him, to combat the evil that was pronounced upon his life from centuries and bloodlines ago. But, not very many are imparting this truth and that is: WE ARE NOT BLACK PEOPLE!

When people mention Black History, some ignorantly BElieve that they are talking about African History. Black History and African History are not the same thing. Black History is, in fact, American Slave History. Accordingly, there is a reason that I do not subscribe to BEing or accept BEing called black. Even though it is part of America’s History, it is not who I AM.

In its contextual expression, as in referring to people, black is demonic. Yet, so many continue to define and identify WHO they are, as a race of people, by this choice word. A word that is used to degrade, and was bestowed upon people by an oppressor; a task master.

A hundred score and one, meaning a lot of, individuals have BEcome WHO the oppressor have said that they were. Black. A nigger. How did they BEcome that? I’ll tell you how. By accepting AND campaigning for rights to BE black, to BE that nigger. And, by identifying themselves as WHO the oppressor said they were…black…a nigger.

Thus, many continue to BE treated as if they are WHO the task master said they were, because they are still acting like who the oppressor said they were and they are still advocating to BE the same. They have BEcome a unified three strand cord with the name, the nature, the personality, and the behavior that the tormentor has given, taught, and engraved in them.

All the ages of protesting, rallying, and boycotting (even though the dial moves a little bit) will continue another 100 years for equality. Why? All in an effort to attempt to BE something that we, as a people, were never created to BE. However, and yet, many accept what they have said we are and those same many continue to build up on it to make it work on their behalf. How will you win a battle against the enemy that you, in the same breath, embrace as a truth? I can’t win a battle against cancer and then advocate to BE cancerous? SELAH!

DEFINE BLACK: very dark color; very dark BEcause there is no light; dirty, soiled; thoroughly sinister or evil; very sad, gloomy, or calamitous; RELATING to a race of people who have dark skin and who come originally from Africa.

DEFINE NIGGER: a black person; a member of a socially disadvantage class of people; a member of any dark-skinned race.

Who gave people these names I’ve just defined? It’s no mystery that man, a people of European traders, branded citizens from African into American slavery as black and nigger. We were not called these names until the slave traders and task masters defined us as what these names represents. And then, our ancestors of old laid hold to those names and the substance that came with it. Thus, we took it up on ourselves to carry on the language of a man, calling us a name that degrades.

In its contextual use, as it relates to people, black is, and means the same thing as, nigger. SELAH. So, people are literally walking around, parading, exercising die-ins, rallying in the highways, holding up traffic, saying, #NiggerLivesMatter! They hate the word nigger, but are carelessly saying #NiggerLivesMatter. If someone else calls them a nigger, they scream injustice and racism. However, they will call themselves black and scream power and equality…we want fair treatment…we deserve…we have rights. When will they wake up to the fact that they are fighting against themselves and their own agenda to BE free?

When when they realize that freedom will come when they are transformed in their minds and their language. Sadly, but true, so many have BEcome their own segregated person, because they fail to honor a simple truth in that #AllLivesMatter. Who’s advocating for ALL of us? SELAH!

Words? Why do they hate the “N” word (as they call it now), but they are constantly defining themselves as a nigger by continuously subscribing to BEing black? Words are everything! Every word has great value to it. Especially when you take time and years to BEcome that word. As a matter of fact, as I BElieve, the entire concept of this world and its inhabitants were created with words.

Now, so many of us in this age are continuously advocating for equality to BE known as black. In essence, and by definition, we are fighting for egalitarianism to BE evil, very sad, gloomy, or calamitous; dirty soiled; to BE a member of a socially disadvantage class of people. THAT is not who we are! WHY do we campaign to BE this, by the mere word itself?

Who are you?

I am a respectful citizen, who abides by what is honorable. I am a daughter, a mother, an aunt, and a cousin. I am a virtuous woman who dresses modestly and who speaks eloquently. I am an educated lady, an effective communicator, an observer of the good and ill behavior of others. I am compassion. SELAH! I am Pure Divine Love. I am a business owner, a child and family and healthy marriage advocate. I am a singer, a writer, and an author. I am a prophet, by name Nataph. SELAH! I am from the royal Biblical lineage of the Hebrew Israelites, specifically the tribe of Levi; I am of the Ibo people of Nigerian, I am a Native American of the Cherokee tribe, and I am European.

I KNOW who I AM and I’m not black!

While preparing for the days’ journey, i.e. picking my hair, praying for my family, my sons and daughters, my grandchildren, our gifts and talents, ideas and inspirations, visions and motivations, I asked my son what was the temperature and he said 26^o. Then I asked, “What is the “real feel?” He told me that the winds were at 9 miles per hour.

With that information, I knew the “real feel” was approximately 15^o. BEcause I have an obsession with being as precise as possible, I checked my weather app to see if it would display the information and it stated that it was indeed 26^o (sum of 8) and “real feel” 16^o (sum of 7). Straightaway when I saw that, I heard, like a fountain of water springing up,

“Your situation is 10 degrees better than what you feel that it is. Don’t BE moved by what you feel; BE moved by what you know. And know this, your situation IS BETTER!”

How? Just how do I know this IS the truth? Because the Spirit of Truth, WHO dwelleth with me and BE in me, guides me IN to all truth. Thus, my knowing.

Previously, I had written in my journal about the power of the number 10 (law and testimony). From a biblical reference, Genesis 1 is the first occurrence of a testimony. Ten times, this chapter testifies of YAH’s creative power by the expression “God said.” Each time those 2 words (union) were released into the atmosphere (into the darkness, the firmament, the waters, the earth, etc.), the atmosphere yielded itself to the power of what was said. What was spoken BEcame, and what BEcame still IS. It still exists.

Being swift to hear (both sensitive and acute), I understood that the testimony this morning wasn’t that my (your) situation is GOING TO GET or is IN THE PROCESS OF BEcoming better. Better already exists! The testimony is that my (your) situation IS (now, right now, here and now, without delay, this very moment, this present time, this day and age) BETTER! And it is that, by 10^o.

There is no preparation for IS to BE. However, we have to prepare ourselves to BE what IS. SELAH!

As for me and my household, we are rising up to what IS by BEing a doer of the word according to James 1 (KJV), and as expounded in my weblog “Doer of the Declaration.”

I ask of you my dear friends, “What it is?” It IS BETTER!

Doer of the Declaration

Today, I attended another case conference to review and update the goals and plans of a teenager. In these case conferences, we work on three things: (1) we review past goals and successes/failures of those goals, as well as ask the teen questions about how they view their progress, (2) then, we update/establish new goals based upon the progress/regression of the child, as well as listen to and hear their objective on what they desire to achieve next, and last (3) we develop a plan to succeed the afresh established goals.

After the conference, I sat in my car and recapped all that was discussed and the words advocacy, declaration, and helper were paddling in my soul.

Goals and declarations, to me, are tantamount. Embodied in both words, a person is composing a confident statement by giving specific details of a plan. They are expressing something that they desire to have. In my area of expertise, and otherwise, I’ve watched many people inscribe declarations (goals) and that’s it. All they’ve done was state something over and over again. However, saying something without doing something will retard the emerging of the declaration. Thus, the never-ending saying, stating, talking, writing, and likewise the never-ending not doing.

By way of example: let’s say that one of my declarations (goals) is that Nataph Consulting will work with a retired NFL/MLB sportsperson providing executive director services for his foundation. My ideal work space is my home office, and I will travel, on occasion, as required to the site location. This is one of my declarations (goals). What is the most likely result of this declaration (goal) if I do not submit my required credentials? Will the person even know that I exist, that I’m qualified, that my KSA’s and work ethics are exemplary, and that I will represent his name with integrity? No. They will not know. I have to do something that will bring awareness to them to propel my declaration (goal) to live. SELAH! I must BE a doer!

To witness the “BE fruitful and multiply” results of our declaration (goal), we have to BE doers. Doers are people who “always” progress, improve, increase, get better, etc. They attract helpers (someone who works with them and their plan of action) who are dedicated to advocacy (actively supporting them; speaking in favor of them). These helpers read, they understand, and they implement the forthright declarations (goals) so that they (the declarations/goals) surely come. And, a team of helpers is a team of doers…and givers.

Remember, doers are people who “always” progress, improve, increase, get better, etc. Thus, helpers will “always” progress, improve, increase, get better, etc. SELAH! So then, if you don’t have a plan, an idea, a chart, a sketch, something for helpers to help you with, you can’t justly expect them to help you unto acquiring your declaration (goal).

What are you doing, not saying, that requires the help of a helper?

From this case conference, I, once more, realized that articulating a declaration and penning a goal is priority. For that reason, taking action to propel the declaration into existence cannot BE skirted. The teen in this case saw his declaration (goal) face-to-face today. It was a 3-month plan and he achieved exactly what he desired to achieve, and the reward was exactly what his team of helpers said it was.

He progressed to another level; a level that he declared to succeed. Now, although he has a team of helpers (a team of doers) advocating for him, he was encouraged to take part in his advocacy and BE his own helper; to BE a doer. Again, doers of the declaration (goal) “always” progress, improve, increase, and get better.

In such manner as this teenager, so it is with us parents, relatives, entrepreneurs, educators, athletes, business owners, etc. We must not only say and write or expound and exclaim, we must BE a doer of the declaration (goal). We must escape the sinful nature of chicanery to manipulate doers and givers into advocating for us because we have failed to advocate for ourselves. With great compassion, I compel us all to BEcome diligent doers of our own declarations (goals).

I dedicate this blog to my son, Jordan G. “TheArtistic” Hicks. We developed a plan, you worked the plan, your team of helpers advocated for you on the journey, and today you received exactly what you told me you wanted. Well done son! I love you!

100 Percent

For 4 weeks now, I’ve been praying about a plausible contingency that will bless my household and complete our desires. Since 08.08.15 (eight meaning new beginning), I’ve had 4 dreams that spoke to and about this new thing. During these last 30 days, there were times I had felt as though my certainty was slipping into uncertainty as anxiety was a grouch, crying ‘LET ME IN’. However, I didn’t open the door. I kept on praying and I kept on BElieving.

Around 0245 hours on 09.05.15, I laid a pray BEfore the LORD. At 1045 hours (8 hours later), I got in my car (after having the oil changed) and the oil indicator read – 100%. This was normal as it always read 100% after every oil change. However, in the batting of an eye I heard the Holy Spirit (gently and clearly as I can naturally hear) say, “Your oil level is at 100%!” That was such an EXHILARATING experience!

Forthwith, I knew that response was a direct correspondence to my supplication and to the dreams. One of the other first things that came to my mind was Matthew 24:4 (KJV) “…take head that no man deceive you”, and Ephesians 5:6(a) (KJV) “…LET no man deceive you with vain words.” This was of great comfort to me, as the potential of being deceived is what caused the anxiety in the beginning. I didn’t want to BE deceived or fall into the trap of deception.

Well, it was in the 4th dream that the Holy Spirit showed me how to put deception in check. In this dream, I was leaving a facility and in the lobby were three people: 2 sitting in a waiting area and 1 sitting at a check-in/out counter. There was a middle-aged man facing the desk and as I arrived this is the short conversation we had:

MAN: Ms. Smith?

ME: Yes Sir?

MAN: I have a package for you. I have included you in my living will. All that I have, I give it to you.

ME: (looking around the lobby to make sure he had the right Ms. Smith) Are you talking about me?

MAN: Yes! IT IS YOURS!

I went behind the desk and begin to do my RESEARCH! I needed to have assurance and BE secure that he was not trying to scam me.

This thing called research is a powerful noun. It means to carefully study; studious inquiry; to investigate aimed at discovery and the interpretation of facts. Koheleth, the son of David, also called Preacher, said that “he applied his heart to know, and to search, and to seek out wisdom, and the reason of things…” (Ecclesiastes 7:25, KJV). This is the kind of searching and researching I applied in this dream.

While doing my research, I saw the man in a corner talking with a lady. The lady said, “She is a smart woman. She is not going to BElieve what you have given her until she has fully searched you out. We can’t deceive her.” The “we can’t deceive her” was not inferring that they were trying to deceive me, but rather that I wouldn’t LET them deceive me. There is no room for deception and I wouldn’t or couldn’t LET them deceive me BEcause my oil level is full! SELAH!

100 PERCENT!

Scientifically Spiritual

Is it possible to scientifically explain a spiritual occurrence? I’m not sure where this thought came from, perhaps I was reading something. Right now, I’m not sure what I was reading at the time. (A few moments have passed) OKAY! Now I remember! I was studying EFT and TFT, which are Emotional Freedom Technique and Thought Field Therapy. EFT and TFT are alternative energy medicines like therapeutic touch, acupuncture, Reiki, etc. Then I had to work my recollection to answer, “What made me want to study that?” Well, yesterday I had starting reading an article on “Breaking the Psychologically Attachment to Illness.” Oh how so many of us need to detach ourselves from ourselves and BE made whole. SELAH!

All this week, I’ve been studying on thoughts and words and their importance to create, produce, activate, heal, etc. At one point, the thought arose that this is just mindless. Then I remembered that I took careful attention at how unfailing my midnight thoughts came to me as I BEgin to dose off. Reliable was Psalm 3:3 as I laid me down to sleep: “But thou, O LORD, art a Shield FOR me; MY Glory, and The Lifter Up of mine head.” This song took its place to awareness. As I measured this encouragement, my midday intercession sprung up in me, i.e., the LORD is MY naw-tsar’ (my protector, my shield).

Bringing the two thoughts together was like healing water to my bones. I could literally feel my bones being strengthened by flowing water. It made me giggle for a few seconds; I knew it was the Holy Spirit afresh. This morning, when I opened my eyes, Psalm 3:3-4 awakened with me. I started to pray MY protection a 70×70 mile radius; that wherever I am, I AM shields me. The LORD sustained me! Everything is perfectly complete. SELAH!

Nonetheless, I kept reading and studying EFT and TFT and came upon the faith of the First Church of Christ, Scientist based in Boston, MA. Not the cult, Church of Scientology! That’s an entirely different army, with compounds ALL over this world, which, by the way, is opposed to abortion but PROMOTES homosexual oral and anal penetrative sex as a form of birth control. I thought I was reading a Bourne Ultimatum script perusing information about this organization.

Anyways, back to the First Church of Christ, Scientist. I learned that the requirements to BE a member of this organization, per the by-laws, are that you pray daily and study the bible. You must subscribe to the organization’s periodicals IF YOU CAN AFFORD to, and pay an annual tax to the church of nothing less than $1.00. There are the basic requirements to BE a member. I personally like the idea that they have Reading Rooms at each sanctuary location that are OPEN TO THE PUBLIC! Isn’t that awesome? It’s comparable to a library. How many of the ministry organizations in your neighborhood are OPEN TO THE PUBLIC on days besides the days they’ve calendared service?

In addition, I was captured by the answer that explains the question, “What is a Christian Science?” in particularly this answer:

“Christian Scientists come from all walks of life and are happy to talk about their faith when asked, but we don’t proselytize. For us, a life well lived is the best example of our beliefs.”

A life well lived is THE BEST example of our beliefs! This statement caused me to pause and ponder about what I see in other religious organizations. Do they too BElieve, unto living, that “a life well lived is THE BEST example?” Due to the fact that we all have tendency to yield to the great rhetoric of what we are accustomed to, when all things are considered, we systematically neglect knowing our neighbors who may actually have an acuter depth of spiritual insight.

This is a legitimate thought, and very likely a reliable truth, that if you think the religious organization that you belong to is THE ONLY organization that knows God (Creator, Love, Light, Spirit, and Truth) you are very likely under the influence of a persuasive deception. As many of us are aware, Massachusetts is the breeding ground for witchcraft. Sadly, witchcraft is practiced EVERYWHERE; even so, over the many altars that we fellowship in weekly. There is no slight here, just the unsullied truth.

So then, I take it upon myself to start reading Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures.

“There is no life, truth, intelligence, nor substance in matter. All is infinite Mind and its infinite manifestation, for God is All-in-all. Spirit is immortal Truth; matter is mortal error. Spirit is the real and eternal; matter is the unreal and temporal. Spirit is God, and man is His image and likeness. Therefore man is not material; he is spiritual” (Eddy, Mary Baker (1910) Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 468).

I love this quote of Mary Baker Eddy, founder of Christian Science, from the New York Herald, 1 May 1901,

“Where vaccination is compulsory, let your children be vaccinated and see that your MIND is in such a state that BY YOUR PRAYERS vaccination will do the children no harm. So long as Christian Scientists obey the laws, I do not suppose their mental reservations will be thought to matter much.”

For some reason or another, all of this brought back to my attention, in an affirming manner, that what I’ve been saying for quite some time now is great truth. And that is, we need to BEcome our spirit selves in this realm, as this is our true self. We need to unBEcome who we are and BEcome who we were created. When we start living from this place (spiritually minded, taking on the attributes of Our Image, the Mind of Christ), then we will start experiencing life and peace on earth AS IT IS in heaven. I wholly BElieve John 6:63 (KJV),

“It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I SPEAK unto you, they ARE SPIRIT, and they ARE LIFE.

As I read more from the pages of this text, I thought I was reading my mind on paper. So many things I hear in my spirit, I’ve heard them again in this book. I thus recognize that these thoughts, which are coming to conscious, are arriving BEcause there are disciplines that I need to study. There are matters that I need to learn; there is wisdom to gain; and, there is understanding to get.

BE Benevolent!

This word has been scrolling across my head for three days. I’ve heard this word, particularly in Christian ministries, that are called ‘churches’, and they have what is called Benevolence Funds.

The origin of the word and the foundation of its meaning are well-wishing; organized to do good things for other people; kind and generous. When people are in dire need, many of them expect the religious businesses to do good things for them; to help them up from the mire. After all, this is what many of us have been taught that these ministry businesses are supposed to do. At times disconcerting, but yet truthfully true, these businesses are not ‘organized’ to BE BENEVOLENT. This is not their mission and vision. SELAH!

Thus, some will establish non-profit organizations to provide a service to assist you, i.e., halfway houses funded by philanthropists and world agencies, child care services funded by state programs, homes for teenage parents and domestic violence victims funded by foundations and the criminal justice system, and counseling centers for those who are addicted to various vices paid for by your insurance company. I am no against these entities, because they do assist people in great manifestations. On the other hand thought, many of these established ‘charitable’ organizations require you to invest (co-pays, sliding scale fees, payment plans, etc.) in their generosity towards and for you.

BUT HOW IS IT PERFECTLY CHARITABLE IF THEY ARE SEEING A RETURN?

I do believe that people should BE BENEVOLENT. And, I believe they should BE this with wisdom and without expectation from anyone except the LORD. So, with resolution that is built on the Chief Cornerstone, in this manner I encourage you (those of you who truly need assistance): do not hold these ministry businesses responsible to help you or hold them captive when they are not charitable towards you. They are simply not organized (set-up, established, instituted) to do that. Pray that the LORD directs you to the ones who are organized (structured, well-regulated, and inherently able) to GIVE, to do good things for you, and to BE kind and generous to you. Your investment will be to owe them nothing but to love them.

To BE BENEVOLENT is a lifestyle. Today… I choose, again, to BE. SELAH!

Morning Meditation: Marriage

Today I pray against the evil that comes to kill, steal, and destroy marriages and relationships that are separated and seeking restoration. I command adultery to go and put its face in the crease of the corner. You are unwanted fabric and are not welcomed in the image of YAH.

I speak to the chosen of the LORD; get your house in order! LET your old relationships die; LET them BE fully dried up before you seek after another. STAND STILL until you have taken care of the old; LET not the new wine fail because you tried to fit it in an old bottle. I pray that current relationships consummate with marriage because it is right and it is honorable; LET them all remain FAITHFUL to one another, engulfed in integrity, so that the sheets of their souls and private chambers are not spoiled and stained.

Father Elohim, blow Your sustaining wind NOW. LET us inhale Your new mercy, it is our life! In the name of the LORD Yeshua Who is the chosen people’s bridegroom. Surely this is done. ALLELUIA! © March 12, 2012

I Want To Pray Over You And Bless You!

It’s Sunday, April 1, 2012 and for the first time ever I had a dream with Bishop T. D & Serita Jakes in it early this morning. It startled me because of all the years I’ve listened to his ministry, I’ve never dreamed of them or about them. Specifically, Bishop Jakes approached me and said, “My God girl! Where have you been hiding? Your gift needs to be heard. Make sure you see me before you leave because I want to pray over you AND bless you.”

In this dream, we were in a big warehouse building where a lot of construction was going on. They were transforming the building into something, but I couldn’t tell what it was. I was getting ready to leave and Lady Serita Jakes begin to speak to me about the children. She was rebuking the people who were scolding the children who had been abused. She had such great passion for abused children and compelled the people to not think evil of them because of their pain. Then she reminded me to go see the Bishop so that he could prayover you AND bless you.

When I woke up this morning, again, it’s Sunday, April 1, 2012, I tuned in to The Potter’s House Online Service. Streaming live was the consecretion for Pastor Patrick Winfield, Jr., The Potter’s House of Fort Worth, TX. LO and BEHOLD, they started showing pictures of a building that was under construction. The building was an old Kroger’s, I believe, that was being transformed into a sanctuary.

I was so overwhelmed and started weeping, “LORD, what am I supposed to do with this revelation?” With all my heart, I believe that this was confirmation that I am supposed to BE connected to The Potter’s House in some manner. I don’t know why the LORD showed me them in this dream and then confirmed that there is a building under construction. And, I, I am praying that the eyes of the Bishop’s spirit lay hold these words and he sends for me, to do as he wanted to do, “I want to pray over you AND bless you.”

What Constitutes Cheating?

Pastor Marvin Sapp asked this relationship question on Facebook, and I quote, “What constitutes “CHEATING?” Is it just sex from a biblical perspective or more?”

The first thing cognizance was dishonesty. The moment a person IS dishonest, about anything and everything they are dishonest about, is the moment they have begun the journey of cheating. Why are people dishonest or why do they cheat? They do it because they are selfish individuals. They are hoarders of greed. SELAH! This thing called “cheating” BEcomes their lifestyle and it is all entrenched in selfishness [it’s all about their desires, interests, rules and regulations, and how they want to attain them]. When they consistently cheat they BEcome cheaters; when they consistently lie, they BEcome liars; when they consistently deceive, they BEcome deceivers. Cheaters are habitual Svengalis’ (charmers, manipulators), and they have no good purpose. As it is, there is no good purpose in cheating.

Can you imagine Yeshua the Christ cheating the cross, or cheating the woman at the well? Can you imagine YAH cheating His creation, saying, “All this I’ve created is good, I’ll make something bad?” Or better yet, can you imagine YAH cheating Who He was? Love! Love can’t and won’t cheat on or against itself, because love is not selfish. There are elements of love that doesn’t seek its own and it thinks no evil. And, without love you will undoubtedly BEcome a cheater; selfish in all your ways, a narcissistic. That’s right, cheating leads to personality disorders.

The lifestyle of cheating makes a person think they are worth the things they are dishonest about. To mention, cheaters are exceedingly unstable; so unstable that they cheat on themselves. SELAH! Now, that’s a problem when you cheat on yourself and then try to convince yourself that you didn’t. What is there to gain while losing your soul? Cheaters [charlatans, tricksters, double-dealers, and FAITHLESS people] seek to BE grand and will do whatever is necessary to acquire that grandiose posture through lies, white lies, black lies, and, well, extra lies. They pursue all they desire from multiple sources, resources, and people.

Thus, cheating is far more than, and is not rooted in or limited to, sex from a biblical perspective. Cheating is foundational in the mind before it is manifested through the gates of the penis, vagina, eyes, ears, and hands.
