Get in Position! Stand There and Wait For It!

After my Jordan shoveled the entryway and sidewalk, I went outside to start my car and watch my lads get on the bus.  When the bus arrived at 7:03am, I remember saying, “Oh, the bus is a minute late today.  Everybody is late at some time or another.”  After the bus left, I saw a car pull up to the bus stop.  A few more lads got out, stood there, and waited for the bus to come back around to its starting point.  They had missed the bus when it came the FIRST TIME.  SELAH!

Then, I heard, “GET IN POSITION!  Even though you missed it the FIRST TIME, if you would just get in position, stand there, where you are supposed to BE, it will come back to you and you will BE ready and waiting for it.”  What is IT?  Whatever you missed the FIRST TIME when you were not standing in position.

I looked at the clock again (I have this thing with time), and it was 7:08am.  It took FIVE MINUTES, a big ole’ FIVE MINUTES, just a dash of grace for the bus to return.  That is not a long period of time to STAND and WAIT!  SELAH!  Again, I say, GET IN POSITION!  Stand there and wait for it!  Don’t BEcome wishy-washy and shilly-shally.  BE still and patiently wait for it!  I guarantee you, it will come back around and it will not take a long period of time.

  1. Angela, if you only knew how much I needed this today.
God knows and I thank him for using you as a vessel.
This time I will be in position, and I won’t be at the train station waiting for a bus. I will be at the bus station.
I thank God for being a God of Another Chance.

    Be Blessed!

  2. Angela:

Thank you for such a timely word. As I am watching my life transition once again, it is good to know that God is a longsuffering, gracious, kind loving Savior. I praise Him and glorify His name because he is the God of a second, third, fourth chance.
I am truly now in the position where he has tried to coax me into for quite some time.

I will pass this message along also to a dear friend who needs to hear this word of encouragement today.

Thank you for being a faithful servant of the Most High.

    Blessings!
