If my tears could speak, they would say:

My beloved, I hear the ache in your heart. Since you are not meant to carry more than you can handle, I am here to help you release the weight pressing on your soul. I exist to comfort you, and you will start to feel relief as the salty rain streams down your face. Your mind will find freedom, your spirit will lay down the burdens it has held, and your heart will overflow with joy when you realize that God sent me—He is present within each tear.

As you let go, your load will become lighter, and a sense of renewal will fill the air. Though your eyes might be red and puffy, your nose running and your throat dry from crying out what can’t be put into words, don’t worry about appearances or opinions. You are still lovely in my sight. Within every tear there is deliverance; there is cleansing. Never forget that I am here to help rid your body, heart, mind, and spirit of anything toxic.

I not only drive away negative thoughts and push back depression; I also restore you with fresh love and hope… with laughter, goodness, truth, and peace. So, whenever you feel me springing up, don’t hold me back – let me do what I was created to do…flow. Freely utilize me, for I, your tears, need you too.
