Finishing Touches

My Morning Meditation.  We encountered many obstacles before stopping at a restaurant that looked less than a reputable eatery.  I said to him that we should not eat here!  He was persuasive that it was okay to stop there for a small/quick meal and then get back on the road.  He and the child were seated at a table, and I stepped outside to buy a pair of sweatpants. The lady said, “That will be 25 cents and 300 dollars.”  I buffeted against her and finally said, “You mean $300.25!?” She confirmed as I replied, “I’m not paying that amount for a pair of sweatpants!

She firmly stated, “If you touch it, you buy it!  ALL touches are final.”  Selah!

This statement is madly powerful.  Outside of this dream life, in real life, all sales ARE NOT final, but all soul connections (soul touches) certainly are expensive and difficult to return.  Any $ amount on a soul touch will be inaccurate.  Selah.  As I turned to go inside and get him, he was coming from the restroom and angry!  He complained about the stalls and how it was crowded and dirty.  However, the child was still at the table.  Selah.

The words that keep rising are at the table, worth and value.  To me, these two words, worth and value, are so loosely organized on the lips of many individuals and some life coaches and relationship experts, as they are named.  Nonetheless, the less than a reputable restaurant and the ridiculously overpriced sweatpants are very significant in that we must apply these finishing touches to our lives:

1.) We must be/remain good stewards of our income and wealth.

2.) We must not squander our money, time, and resources in places that are both unclean, unreasonably high-cost, and with people who have no respect for us.

3.) We must be both virtuous and valorous in every area of our lives.  Selah!

4.) We must be diligent to love ourselves better so that we can love others selflessly.

5.)  We must have an audacious assurance to demonstrate that love – whatever type of love that it is.  Selah!

The phrase at the table is noteworthy because the child is the only person who did what we stopped to do.  Eat!  SELAH!  We must do what we are sent to do.
