Shine For Me!

My Morning Meditation: As I savored Psalm 125, verses 2 and 5b are resting on my palate even though the entire song is delectable. The sun was shining very bright this morning. Every day, on my way to work, I must turn eastbound on Jefferson St., and there He is – The Son – shining upon me. Hiding my eyes, I stood in the parking lot and looked upward; I was determined to soak in His company.

My thoughts were wiggling as I submitted every concern to my Abba, Father. “Don’t you worry about this; I will take care of that. Rest in Me; I will not forsake you.” I attempted to pray for every name that scrolled across my face (my sons and daughters, my family at large, my cousins and friends [those I have met face-to-face and those I’ve never laid eyes on], my colleagues and business associates). Even as I send this message, the names are flooding in. These are not random prayers but specific supplications for grace outcomes.

I wanted to share this gospel with you today. Says The Spirit of Yeshua Christ, whom I believe in and who is my Comforter:

This is I shining on you. I Am pleading your cause. GO! Shine for Me!

May be an image of nature

I encourage you to BE aware of His presence. The glory of the LORD has risen upon you; ARISE and shine for Him. LET the earth, you, and wherever you be, shine with His glory! LET the gospel of Christ blind the spirit of darkness (ignorance). Selah. Shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of Yah our Father. Let His candle shine upon your head, i.e. your thoughts, your ideas, your creativity, your mind, and your innovativeness, and lead you on a safe passage to purpose seized. Alleluia!

Surely, surely and truly, truly as the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord IS round about His people from henceforth even for ever; PEACE (favor, kindness, goodwill, unity) shall be upon you.

Finishing Touches

My Morning Meditation.  We encountered many obstacles before stopping at a restaurant that looked less than a reputable eatery.  I said to him that we should not eat here!  He was persuasive that it was okay to stop there for a small/quick meal and then get back on the road.  He and the child were seated at a table, and I stepped outside to buy a pair of sweatpants. The lady said, “That will be 25 cents and 300 dollars.”  I buffeted against her and finally said, “You mean $300.25!?” She confirmed as I replied, “I’m not paying that amount for a pair of sweatpants!

She firmly stated, “If you touch it, you buy it!  ALL touches are final.”  Selah!

This statement is madly powerful.  Outside of this dream life, in real life, all sales ARE NOT final, but all soul connections (soul touches) certainly are expensive and difficult to return.  Any $ amount on a soul touch will be inaccurate.  Selah.  As I turned to go inside and get him, he was coming from the restroom and angry!  He complained about the stalls and how it was crowded and dirty.  However, the child was still at the table.  Selah.

The words that keep rising are at the table, worth and value.  To me, these two words, worth and value, are so loosely organized on the lips of many individuals and some life coaches and relationship experts, as they are named.  Nonetheless, the less than a reputable restaurant and the ridiculously overpriced sweatpants are very significant in that we must apply these finishing touches to our lives:

1.) We must be/remain good stewards of our income and wealth.

2.) We must not squander our money, time, and resources in places that are both unclean, unreasonably high-cost, and with people who have no respect for us.

3.) We must be both virtuous and valorous in every area of our lives.  Selah!

4.) We must be diligent to love ourselves better so that we can love others selflessly.

5.)  We must have an audacious assurance to demonstrate that love – whatever type of love that it is.  Selah!

The phrase at the table is noteworthy because the child is the only person who did what we stopped to do.  Eat!  SELAH!  We must do what we are sent to do.
