This morning, as I was receiving therapy, I thought about how I will be in constant [regular, steady, continuous, devoted, unbroken, perpetual] therapy for the next 4-6 weeks; realigning my body from an accident I had on February 4, 2012.
Some 20 years ago, I had fallen down a flight of stairs at Big Momma’s house. I remember taking a cooler up the stairs, not realizing that it was dripping water. So, when I was going down the stairs, I slipped on the first step and slid all the way down the stairs on my butt-bone. Over the years, I’ve had stints of immobility; and even with that, I was able to bear two more children and remain physically healthy. This accident, although mild in impact, affected me wholly from head to feet. However, it was refreshing to get up and go back work. Albeit I am sore, with bouts of dull pain and sharp tingles, I am doing much better than last week.
While driving and meditating, embracing the morning dew and the fresh wind, I looked into the sky before me and saw the horizon. Then, these words entered my soul: “RISE UP to the horizon; the place where earth [you] meet the sky [heaven]. Great things are awaiting you. You are closer than what you appear to BE – keep moving forward. Yes, moving TOWARDS, not PARALLEL to, the horizon. There is where “your will BE done on earth as it is in heaven” blessings are; at the horizon.”
As I paused and smiled in agreement, I heard, “Constant Praise Therapy! It will get you there!” Where is there? Again, there is where “your will BE done on earth as it is in heaven” blessings are; at the horizon.” Constant [regular, steady, continuous, devoted, unbroken, perpetual] Praise Therapy will get you to the horizon.”
